Top 10 Losers on NSE – 28-Jan-2026

Although the index closed with a positive tone, selling pressure was still evident in segments like stocks with excessive valuations or those businesses whose immediate future remains unclear. CSBBANK, a banking stock, was hit with a steep correction as the market participants booked profits following the recent rally and they still remained cautious about the margin outlook in smaller private banks. Investors selling of logistics startup SHADOWFAX continued as they reduced their exposure to growth companies with higher cash burn. VIMTALABS, a diagnostics player, saw a drop in share price due to worries about price pressure and slower volume growth. MASKINVEST, a financial investment firm, and RPGLIFE, a consumer products company, were sold off by traders who liquidated defensive positions that had performed well earlier. The recently strong counter DBOL saw profit booking after its momentum cooled. RE, newable, linked SOLARWORLD and metal stock SIYSIL were down due to the lack of new catalysts. RADICO, a liquor maker, went down as consumption stocks remained mixed, whereas EIFFL got a slight correction as NBFC stocks were still sensitive to funding cost expectations. Sales today seem to be more strategy, driven rather than fear, based.
